If night trains already exist, why do we need a new concept? 🤔

Although night trains are popular, they are rarely profitable. An aging fleet, limited passenger capacity, and high operating costs are among the main reasons. At the same time, they produce significantly lower CO₂ emissions than airplanes, making them a far more environmentally friendly mode of transport. To ensure their long-term success, new solutions are needed—solutions that are tailored to the needs of today’s travelers and Operators.

This is exactly the challenge we’ve taken on together with our project partners GETA mbH, Satek GmbH, DLR Institut für Fahrzeugkonzepte, and K+V Ingenieursgesellschaft mbH.
